Terms and Conditions

These Terms explain what Childbook.ai provides, how subscriptions and credits work, and the responsibilities that remain with you. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

01

Operator and contact

Childbook.ai is operated from Poland and is registered under REGON 363032711 and TIN PL9691603940. Contact support@childbook.ai for account, billing, or service questions and sales@childbook.ai for custom-plan inquiries. Further details are available on the Company page.

02

Service and accounts

Childbook.ai is a web application for creating, illustrating, personalizing, editing, and exporting children’s books. Some eligible books can also be submitted for print quoting and ordering in supported destinations.

You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure, and be legally able to enter into these Terms. The service is intended for adults; a parent, guardian, or authorized business user must manage content involving children.

03

User content and permitted use

You retain your rights in text, photos, logos, and other material you upload. You grant Childbook.ai the limited permission needed to process that material, generate requested output, store project files, provide support, and fulfill print orders you place.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for every upload, including permission to use a child’s image. You may not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, exploitative, or deceptive content or use the service to violate another person’s rights.

04

Business plan and commercial use

The self-serve Business plan is $99 per month or $990 per year, before applicable taxes. It includes 200 core book credits and 1,000 illustration credits each month, 10 included Basic marketplace template slots, priority generation, watermark-free output, and a commercial-use license for eligible output created while the subscription is active. Marketplace generations draw from the same book-credit pool at 2 credits per book.

Childbook.ai supplies production software, not a storefront, customer base, sales service, or guarantee of business results. You remain responsible for your products, prices, marketing, payment processing, customer communication, refunds to your customers, consumer-law obligations, and taxes.

05

Credits and marketplace charges

  • Core book and illustration credits are refreshed monthly. Fifty percent of unused core credits rolls into the next monthly period.
  • Marketplace generation uses 2 book credits per book from the same monthly book-credit pool as other book production.
  • Purchased book-credit packs remain available and do not expire while the account remains usable, subject to these Terms.
  • The current book-credit cost is shown before generation. Extra volume is available as purchased book-credit packs.
  • Template licenses, subscriptions, or purchases outside the included slots may carry separate charges shown before checkout.
06

Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Subscription charges and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically using the selected monthly or yearly billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for. No refund is provided for a partial subscription period or unused credits.

A subscription refund may be requested within six months of purchase only when the subscription has not been used. Starting a generation, spending a credit or allowance, downloading subscriber-only output, or using another paid feature counts as use. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible.

07

Print quotes, orders, and delivery

Printing and shipping are not included in the Business subscription. Eligibility, available formats, printing cost, shipping options, taxes, and estimated delivery are calculated from the book specification and destination and are shown before a print order is placed.

You are responsible for checking the quote, book preview, recipient details, and delivery address. Production and delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by the print provider or carrier. Contact support if an order is damaged, materially incorrect, or not delivered.

08

Automation and custom agreements

Standard self-serve subscriptions provide access through the Childbook.ai web application. They do not include API access, webhooks, unattended scripts, bulk or CSV processing, or Shopify and other storefront integrations.

Those capabilities may be made available under a separate written custom agreement. The custom agreement controls if it conflicts with these general Terms for the agreed service.

09

Service availability and changes

Generation time and output can vary with project complexity, selected model, and service demand. Childbook.ai may maintain, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Material subscription or Terms changes will be communicated before they affect a renewal where required.

We may suspend access for non-payment, security risk, abuse, unlawful activity, or material breach of these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated output will require no review or editing.

10

Liability and governing rules

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of sales, revenue, customer demand, fitness for a particular commercial purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Where permitted, these Terms are governed by Polish law. Mandatory consumer rights and other protections that apply in your country remain unaffected. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute directly.

11

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed, retained, shared with service providers, transferred internationally, and how to exercise data-protection rights.
