Morning sun warmed the rainforest leaves. Berri nibbled blueberries and sighed, 'I wish I had a friend.' She glided between trees searching. 'Hello?' she called. A grey glider waved, 'I'm Cherri!'

'Hi, I'm Berri!' she chirped. 'I love cherries,' Cherri giggled, 'and you?' 'Blueberries forever!' Berri laughed. They traded snacks, chomp-chomp. Together they leaped from vines, whooshing, 'Three, two, one—glide!'

They explored mossy logs, peeking at shiny bugs. 'Follow the safe path,' Benny the beetle said seriously, leading them. Cindy the centipede peeked, slipped, then giggled, 'Found me!' 'Snack time!' cheered Linz the gecko.

They splashed in a clear pool, laughing, 'Cannonball!' Cherri shared cherries; Berri shared blueberries. 'Best friends?' asked Cherri. 'Best friends,' Berri smiled. Tired and happy, they cuddled under leaves, whispering dreams of tomorrow's adventure.
